You will always find me in the kitchen at parties..

I know this was on the box forever ago but it just came on again whilst I was watching the only way is Essexmas and I remembered how much i enjoy it. That song is brilliant.

Oh no, it's New years eve tomorrow...

AND i have nothing to wear.

Inspiration from

LIKE LIKE LIKE the dotty blouse, I tried one on similar to this in Topshop today.

Re-do like Zoe Murphy

Not only does she recycle, remake and re-invent Zoe Murphy has a bloody lovely looking website!

The whole idea of re-using is familiar to me and I applaud her for finding those old fashioned looking pieces and turning them into something truly contemporary.
Well Done.

One of the best Christmases i've had in years with the family.
This is my lovely niece. Watching her tear open presents was a treat.

Talent x1000

On doing a little bit more research on the illustrator Dyna Moe, I find these AMAZING Joan Holloway dolls.
Now, for those that didn't know Joan is my favourite Mad Men character as she reminds me lots and lots of my good friend Amylee.
AND i love fashion and used to love these paper doll things when i was younger.
Combine the two and I have these.

This is my best friend, he plays guitar...

..,And he is featured as one of the top quotes of 2010 on NME alongside the likes of Kanye West, MIA, Caleb Followill.

Julien David - Part 2??

SO after my post about Julien David, I was a wondering in Sheffield and in this magical shop (I cannot remember the name) on Division street, i found this trinket box,

Look familiar?

Mornings are not my forte

I love sequins!

Party season and sequins are back. Although to be honest they never left my lust list.
Vintage sequins are always my favourite and by rummaging through some of your favourite charity shops and vintage boutiques you will find that amazing batwing sequin top/dress. However the latter will be thrice as expensive.
Not quite as expensive as high street though. In my opinion, your sequin tunic will be your statement piece so don't bother getting one that the world and his brother will have bought as well.

My favourite sequin pieces are jackets. One like this are like gold dust to me.

Bottle bottle bottle bottle bottle bottle bottle bottle bottle

A friend (who always finds amazing animations) sent me this.

The JOY of pink

Apologies for the last few posts which have just been video's, but i'm quite enjoying letting the video do the talking.

Now then, Alexa is in the new Lacoste joy of pink campaign, and it goes a little like this...

Love love love...

Mele Kalikimaka

One of my favourite more upbeat less depressing christmas songs they play at work by the lovely Bette Midler.

They let you down frequently.

So i listen to Kate Bush

Black Swan, brilliantly dark looking.

Darren Aronofsky? Tick
Mila Kunis? Tick
AND Natalie Portman? Boom.

This looks like it is going to be my favourite film of the year.

Marina Diamondis we salute you

I am always keeping an eye on Vogue's "What i'm wearing", to see my favourite style icon's photograph their outfits for a month.
November came the time of that kooky "i am not a robot" singing Marina, of Marina and the Diamonds fame.
I thoroughly enjoy people that have fun with dressing. Yes i appreciate the simple classy elegant styles but I admire people that take the risk and are bright, bold and colourful. Clashing prints and styles to create a truly unique look. Marina does this frequently and I am in awe.

Why yes I would love a polar bear storage unit.

Limited edition and VERY expensive. I can dream.

(Pilfered from Amylee Caden)

Mad Men is not just for christmas, IT'S FOR/MY LIFE

Illustrator Dyna Moe (ACE name) did this way back last year, but I have only just found it, so therefore it is new.

Advent began yesterday!

I know its christmas because the music has now switched to festive at work and with all the huge amounts of snow it's getting me quite excitable. I also bought a red crushed velvet skater dress yesterday so i'm feeling the holiday spirit.
Note to self: Now would be the time to begin buying christmas presents.

Music never sounded so sweet

Yesterday at work we got these in the delivery. At £12 they are cheaper than the apple ones and WAYYYY more fun.
